To show exactly what we build, we took a real, public filing — Costco Wholesale’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for fiscal 2024 — and rebuilt it as a guided, interactive web experience with a built-in AI assistant. Nothing in it is invented; every figure traces back to the filing.
What’s in it
The 76-page PDF becomes a sequence of scenes you can move through — the headline results, the membership flywheel, the global footprint, capital allocation, the risk landscape, the CFO transition, and a closing thesis. Each scene leads with the point and lets you drill into the numbers behind it.
Alongside the story sits an AI assistant grounded in the filing. Ask it a question about Costco’s FY2024 performance and it answers only from the report, cites the section it drew from, and declines anything the document doesn’t cover — rather than guessing.
You can still read the original. The interactive view and the source PDF sit side by side, so disclosures and exact figures are always one click away.
Why Costco
We needed a report that is real, public, and recognisable, so anyone can check our work against the source. Costco’s 10-K is a dense, well-known filing — a fair test of turning length into something a shareholder will actually finish.
This is a self-built demonstration on a public SEC filing, not a client engagement. Informance is early and onboarding its first investor-relations teams.
